If anyone has a working rc.lua which uses d-bus signals, can I please have a look? I'm trying to incorporate tem into my setup but I don't know how to implement or handle them and documentation seems pretty scarce.

After countless failed attempts at moving from GNOME and Emerald to Awesome, I was finally able to make the switch... As soon as I  got my new netbook, I was determined to use Awesome and figure out how to configure it to my liking -

I love how much more control I have over my UI now! Not just the looks, but the way everything behaves, too - in particular, the ability to automatically place windows into specified tags is really impressive to me.
Now to start using it on my desktop, too!

Finally got most of my Awesome WM setup sorted out

Could anyone explain me how I change the system colors and/or use this fancy color-scheme script everybody seems to have?
Is it in ~/.Xdefaults I have to put code like "*color1=royalblue"?
