sound problems (Samsung N150)

Sometimes when I plug-in my headphones sound doesnt working after unplugging (exactly sound keep working when headphones plugged in again, but built-in speaker doesnt playing any sound, even after restarting ALSA)
any suggestions, please?

With live-cd of another distro check whether sound from your built-in speakers work, if they don't then it is an issue of either a broken built-in speaker or an issue of drivers.

I also recommend that you check your 'alsamixer' after you have taken the headphone plugs out.

Has this always happened or is this a new occurrence?

The more information you provide ,the easier the solution is to find.

I am experiencing the same problem after the last kernel upgrade...speakers work under a different OS.
The laptop is a Samsung Q330, so different model but same brand.
