KDE: Disable Alt-Click [SOLVED]

Hi,

Inkscape uses Alt-Click for selecting invisible shapes; KDE uses Alt-Click for dragging windows. Is there a way to disable this KDE action or bind it to something else (Win-Click, for instance)?

Have a look at :

system settings > window behaviour > window behaviour (again) > window actions tab

Should be able to set it there.

I tried cutting Inactive inner window down to Activate & Raise or Activate, but no luck. Window behavior won't change in the slightest: it still drags on Alt-Click.

Re: KDE: Disable Alt-Click [SOLVED]

Hi,

Use the lower section "Inner Window, Titlebar & Frame"

Make sure the modifier key is set to "alt" and set the left button to "nothing"

I just tried it and it works for me wink

You can also set "meta" and left button to have the old behaviour with different keys

Cheers!

Setting Modifier key to meta works as advertized smile . Thank you very much, SteveK!
