[Solved] Latest kernel update broke my wifi

After my daily update of today (kernel included), my wifi stopped working, haven't checked if anything else is broke, but wifi is the most important right now considering I have some work to do

my card:

85:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 02)

last update included the kernel, it happened also some time ago, like 2 months.

Cheers.

edit: I intended this to go into kernel & hardware issues forum, firefox tabs betrayed me and made me post it into pacman and packages issues, some mod move it please

Re: [Solved] Latest kernel update broke my wifi

As with any externally built kernel module, they must be rebuilt for every kernel release. This is an AUR package, so it's not covered by pacman.
