Foobnix: An awesome music player

Discovered today this music player, Foobnix!

Site: http://www.foobnix.com/about/eng
AUR Package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=41008

What makes it so awesome? It's simple and allows you to search music on the internet, stream it and download it!

Give it a shot.

Re: Foobnix: An awesome music player

I like the idea of last.fm streaming in the player. The foobnix-svn package in the AUR doesn't seem to work, I'm installing the regular package now.

Re: Foobnix: An awesome music player

I saw this a while back, with a name like this must be a foobar alternative. smile

Here's some screen shots of how it looks for me.

foobnix1.th.jpg

foobnix2.th.jpg

In the first screen shot I have Music listed in the left pane and what is I take a playlist section in the middle, where it says 'Foobnix', does this all look proper in that screen shot, it should display the music both on the left and in the middle this way? Because a few times I added a folder it wouldn't put anything in the middle, only on the left side.

I'd love to see some screen shots of how others are doing things...

THANKS
