If you don't mind learning something new while playing a game try ccgo. ( also install gnugo so you have a computer to play against
)
Start a 9x9 and progressively increase as your ability improves. A 9x9 game is nice and short
The game itself (GO) is very simple yet there is a lifetime worth of material of those who wish to delve deeper.
