Toughbook issues

i just recently installed arch on this laptop, a Panasonic Toughbook CF-Y4.

This isnt a major problem but it would be nice if it worked, the touchpad is a circle and on windows if you run your finger on the outside of it it scrolls. im not too good with X/synaptics so i thought someone might have a solution here.

Also my laptop has a switch to kill the CD drive, on arch the switch doesnt work and im not sure why, if you need some logs or whatnot just ask me.
