Openbox + Nvidia + Compositing = always video tearing.

I think this is the right place. As in subject, Arch64, OB, Nvidia graphic card (drivers just from -S nvidia). I love openbox and I always go back to it, but I wanted to try out avant window navigator which requires compositing, but xcompmgr and cairo composite manager (every versions from repos) gives me video tearing which I don't have normally (when watching stuff in smplayer or vlc). I tried to change things in Nvidia Settings, also refresh rate in xorg.conf, but no luck. I have composite enabled in xorg, but I guess it does not matter now. I installed compiz standalone and with right configuration in compiz settings I have no tearing.

So, my question is: did someone managed to get compositing in OB with Nvidia graphic card and no video tearing, or my only option is compiz standalone (I don't want any big DE) if I want nice lightweight fancy stuff? I'm tired of trying, so it's my final attempt for that in ob I guess for a while.

Thanks in advance, I hope I was clear enough.
