I am experiencing strange issue. After resume from hibernate and suspend (using Gnome) I am experiencing blank screens. internet is full of these issues, I searched and went through them, but they seem to be different to mine, as mine occurs ONLY under well known condition. When I have screensaver screen lock enabled and I suspend or hibernate pc from Gnome menu.
Summary:
suspend computer by closing it's lid = works and resumes as supposed no matter how screensaver is set
hibernate computer by closing it's lid = works and resumes as supposed no matter how screensaver is set
hibernate computer by selection from menu = rarely works when screensaver is set to lock screen
suspend computer by selection from menu = rarely works when screensaver is set to lock screen
hibernate computer by selection from menu = works when screensaver screen locking is dissabled
suspend computer by selection from menu = works when screensaver screen locking is dissabled
What is different when lid is closed compared to menu selection ?
