I search a SMB share browser to find existing SMB shares in a network. I don't know where the shares are and how the name of the share holding machines are.
Are there any programs which are not bloated and don't need kde or gnome the search the network in the way windows do it (all existing shares in the network are shown)?
Thanks!

thank you very much for your answer.
But my problem is not the listing of available shares of an serving system.
My exactly problem is to find out which PCs are offering SMB services. After I know which PCs are offering SMB services, I could find out with you command what exactly shares this PCs are offering.
Any ideas?!?
Thank You.

I found an answer for myself: just type smbtree and you'll get a list of available systems and their shares. :-)
