[solved] XBMC freezes on xf86-video-ati

Hi, I write this because it could be helpful for someone:

hardware: radeon x300 (others are insignificant)

problem: xbmc freezes after couple seconds (and i really mean it, even magic sysrq combo doesn't work)

solution: after two days of struggle with xbmc I finally know what the heck is troublemaker - GALLIUM!... after installing latest git drivers (big thanks to Perry3D) I got working xbmc the gist is gallium, in git drivers by default the classic mesa driver is active, switch to gallium will break xbmc

my question is: how to enable classic mesa driver on stable xf86-video-ati?
