alsa/dmix messed up? can't play sound from multiple sources...
After the last system upgrade, I can't play sound files from 2 or more sources at once.
Did something happen to the alsa / dmix logic that I should be aware of? Can I somehow fix it?
I have Xonar Essence STX sound card (which worked fine till yesterday), alsa 1.0.23, kernel 2.6.36.1, kde 4.5.4...
I tried reinstalling alsa, installing alsa-firmware and alsa-lib, recompiling alsa packages in ABS, setting up again alsa and dmix using wiki.... Nothing works for now.
