[solved]Empathy: can't add accuont.[/solved]

Well I just installed gnome and am mostly very happy with it but I have a problem with empathy (the chat client).

When I click Edit > Accounts nothing happens :S

Also one of the games: Nibbles doesn't work, the game doesn't start, I don't play games so it doesn't matter but it might be related.

Rest of gnome seems to work great apart from these problems.

empathy alone without the telepathy providers is useless and all of them are optionally and printed after installing empathy.

really, pacman output is not useless.

pacman -Si empathy.

the game work for me or maybe you want to describe "doesn't work" a bit more, like errors

Yeah, I installed 'telepathy-idle' to get irc support but it doesnt work.

As for the game well after I select 'Game > New' the window freezes.

relogin. it has something to do with registering that provider to dbus and i didn't had the opportunity to add a dbus-launch kill HUP to it

Yay! now Empathy works!

As for card, an old nvidia one. lspci gives: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV18GL [Quadro4 380 XGL] (rev a2)

And I use it with nouveau and KMS.

Relogin is not necessary. Kill empathy-accounts and mission-control-5 (or similar) and may be telepathy-logger and launch empathy again.
