Recently I've switched to AMD architecture, using M2N-X (ASUS) motherboard. I have one SATA and one ATA disk attached. The problem is that with every boot the order of the disk is different: sometimes sata disk (which is designated as nr. 1 in BIOS) is sda and sometimes it's designated as sdb. This, off course, creates a lot of troubles. Is there any way I can persistently mark the sata disk as sda?
The content of /boot/grub/device.map is:
(hd0) /dev/sda
(hd1) /dev/sdb
