Hi,
I'm using arch64 on a Vaio VGN-BZ12XN equipped with Intel graphics:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
Everything works fine, except when I try to watch a flash video full screen (e.g. this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLPVCJjTNgk&feature=aso), playback is very choppy or I just see a grey screen. Disabling flash hardware acceleration doesn't help.
I also tried the Flash 10.2 beta (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html), unfortunately that that doesn't change anything either.
The following more or less relevant packages are installed:
xorg-server 1.9.2-2
intel-dri 7.9.0.git20101207-2
xf86-video-intel 2.13.0-4
xf86-video-vesa
xf86-video-fbdev
xf86-input-evdev
Any pointers ?
Cheers,
Eric

I'm not sure... Is there anything surprising in having choppy fullscreen flash videos?
It's working decently here (below 1080p) now that I have a Core i3 3.2 GHz though. It's the power of your CPU that matters, since there is no hardware video acceleration.

Well,
It is kinda surprising since I can watch full screen flash 720p videos with no issues at all using Fedora, Ubuntu and other distro's. Not with Arch though. Not even 480p or lower in full screen.

I have this same problem. Playing Flash in fullscreen in Arch is a lot worse than in CrunchBang on the same computer.

Apparently I missed some important 32-bit libraries, I guess not having lib32-intel-dri installed was an issue. Seems to work fine now.
sudo pacman -S lib32-intel-dri lib32-alsa-plugins

Unfortunately, Kwin crashes frequently now when switching between full screen mode and windowed mode

UPDATE: kwin only crashes when I use Chromium, not when using Firefox.
