Boot error: sbin/init does not exist

Hello. After a couple bad AUR builds, I had to reinstall Arch. When I finished reinstalling it, I received a message like this.

ERROR: Root device mounted successfully, but /sbin/init does not exist.
...

/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

Any ideas? I've installed off the minimal net cd, so I'm not able to reload into a live environment.

At least I've learned to stick with traditional compiling from now on....

Re: Boot error: sbin/init does not exist

Do you have multiple drives? it sounds like you're specifying root by device file name (e.g. /dev/sda1) and not by something a little more unique like a label or UUID.
