Wrong encoding of the filenames

Hello,

I have problem with the encoding of my files, which have special letters in name (ěščřžýáíé). They are on an ext4 partition, which has been used by openSuse, Fedora, Ubuntu (and I think, that before using ubuntu it was all ok) as a /home and now I switched back to Archlinux.

Dolphin shows another characters, in Konsole, it shows question marks.

For example:

Original name: Veřejné
Dolphin: VeÅejnÃ©
Konsole (ls command): Ve??ejn??

In rc.conf I have cs-CZ.utf8 in LOCALE, it is Czech locale.

How can I fix it? I've read some threads, but I am still not sure, if it is my problem, they were about NTFS vs Linux problems.

As long as you're using an utf8 locale the filenames should be fine.

I've already tried it and it doesn't work for me.
