now when I go to click on a video file it causes a complete crash of dolphin.... everytime.... any other file like txt are fine but if its a video it instantly crashes dolphin.
*edit* audio files are affected too.
*edit2* also vlc player wont load, neither will mplayer..... Im sure that has something to do with it.

well I decided to delete my .kde4 folder and that fixed the crashing but for some reason my vlc player is still pooched..... doesnt load at all.
If I try to launch from the terminal I get:
> vlc
VLC media player 1.1.5 The Luggage (revision exported)
Segmentation fault
and thats it.
Any ideas?
*UPDATE*
nevermind I fixed it....
thanks.

Out of curiousity, how did you fix it?

oh, turns out it was nod32's beta antivirus that was causing the problem.....
uninstalled it and was rocking out. I was messing with vlc player.
Also to fix the crashing when I would click a .wav or .avi file I deleted my .kde4 folder.
