I have en_gb in cache and there are packages in [extra]. Both, however, are for 4.5.4-1

I think you need to wait for updated kdepimlibs that should be released with KDE 4.6 RC1 as the file mailtransport/sentactionattribute.h was non-existent in kdepimlibs-svn 12 days ago.

This is probably a bit late, but I am just now reading this thread. I use this command:

qdbus org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver /ScreenSaver Lock

You can probably do the same with dbus-send, too, but I found qdbus easier to use.

Grr, this release doesn't "like me".

After upgrade to 4.6 RC

1)kdeinit 100% cpu for unknown reasons
2)Strigi goes to 100% even though I have it closed
3)Kwin suddenly is so slow.

Sorry about your bad experience; but I've just updated too and I can't reproduce any your issues. Kwin was slow for me too (even with 4.5) but i've disabled animations (kwin + oxygen theme) and blur effect and now KDE is flying ^^
On my side I have issue with my soundcard, can't get sound without pulseaudio, I left a post on KDE forum to get answer, waiting...

No cpu problems, but your not the only one, kwin is very choppy, this wasnt in beta 2. Using latest nvidia driver.

is it possible that the latest kdebase-workspace is missing the file /usr/include/solid/control/powermanager.h ?
Tried compiling kamoso and it failed, due to this file not being in /usr/include.

That might be the strigiindexer started by the akonadi beta stuff. Try killing it. This issue should just go away then.

I also have the strigi problem. And strigidaemon actually spontaneously crashed after several minutes.

strigidaemon[4340]: segfault at 7f1b87f69000 ip 00007f1b8aa07ceb sp 00007f1b87f67958 error 4 in libc-2.12.2.so[7f1b8a988000+153000]

I'm not sure how to debug it.
