As you can see, there's no transparence. It's as if there was a black window behind. Also, when moving a window:
Notice the different color for the window border, and the black pixels at the corners.
The overall performance is very poor but I don't know if that's expected

Hi, try to insert this line into your .bashrc file:
export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1
lately i had this problem, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=110307, i fixed by disabling the Blur effect

It looks to me that you do not have compositing enabled. That's why things are not transparent and the "black dots" are on the corners of the window border.

I have transparencies and animations.
