ATI Radeon HD 5650 [SOLVED]

Hi all,
my last laptop died yesterday :-( it was a Sony Vaio with a Nvidia Graphics Card,  and I had a perfect experience with it and Linux (arch). Yesterday I bought a new Sony Vaio but this time with a ATI Radeon HD 5650 Card. I've been reading that this card is not very Linux friendly, so I'd like to know from you what is your experience with it and what driver do you recommend. I'm stuck with Windoze 7 on this PC but I'm dying to install Arch on it. I just can't live with Windows anymore.

Thankx and merry christmas.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I don't play games on my PC (I have a Wii) but I can't live without Compiz enabled, so I need to have 3D.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 5650 [SOLVED]

I have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 in a laptop and it works great with Catalyst. No problems at all.

Problem solved, I changed PC with another one with an Nvidia card smile still using Sony Vaio. Now time to backup pre-installed software and install Arch.
