tint2 battery applet disappears

Hey guys,
I installed Arch for the first time yesterday, and I got to a very good setup with openbox + tint2. Unfortunately, since I migrated from networkmanager to wicd, I neglected to disable the former and royally messed up my wireless setup. After a re-install (to save myself the frustration of hunting down the source of the error), I got to the same setup, except that tint2's battery applet doesn't work anymore. Before it was there (although faulty, since the battery died on me when it said 65%?), but now it is missing completely. I tried retracing my steps, installing hal and whatnot, but it doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

It's a minor gripe, but it's the kind that would keep me with openbox instead of pulling a GNOME.

http://code.google.com/p/tint2/wiki/Configure#Battery

are you using battery_hide option ?
if so, tried battery_hide = 0

Re: tint2 battery applet disappears

God, I'm dumb. The tint2rc file actually hid the battery.
I could have sworn I configured it before, must have been on the first install roll
