[SOLVED] midi and fluid synt issues

Hi all,
I was using a program for music learning through wine (ear master pro) as i did yesterday, but suddenly it stopped playing midi sounds.

I tried also to configure vmpk according the guide...http://vmpk.sourceforge.net/#MIDI_Connections (i'm sure it was working too)
i realized that the entry FLUID Synth (qsynth) is no more there...

I can't understand what's happened. It was working before!!

Timidity and fluidsynt are correctly installed. I'm able to play mid file standealone.

Any help?

thanks in advance

Did you update your system? Maybe the update broke / disabled something.

Re: [SOLVED] midi and fluid synt issues

Thanks to everybody for the interest. I solved, it was very strange, BUT the problem was related to drivers in Qsynth. There was selected jack driver instead of alsa one. Setting in all tabs alsa driver, it works!

Bye smile
