Instll via network no worky

I just found Archlinux and was amazed, after trying it on VMware I decided to slap it on my laptop and replace Debian, But to my woe the NIC dosen't come up, my laptop dosent have a NIC card integrated, I just have a usb NIC (RTL8150) and an orinoco PCMCIA card.  But the CD install dosen't work either as it refuses to install autoconf.  Does anyone have any suggentions as to how I can get this thing running?
