[solved-ish] sdl 1.2.14-6 breaks audio playback in ffplay
ffplay (from the ffmpeg package) is a simple media player. After the latest SDL update ffplay will not play the audio in a media file. Can someone confirm this? The syntax is simple: ffplay input.foo.
I already submitted this as a bug: FS#22262 - [sdl] 1.2.14-6 breaks audio playback in ffplay, but I'm wondering if it is Just Me™ or not. There's more info in the bug report.

I'm using the same sdl version with a slightly newer build of ffmpeg (26182) and sound works fine with ffplay on a few different test tracks ( aac audio with h264 video, ac3 audio with mpeg2 video, mp3 and aac audio without video, and wav with mjpeg video ).

Looks like it was just me. I performed the shotgun approach of package re-installation which seems to have fixed this issue, but unfortunately I'm unsure what actually fixed it.
