I have just finished a new installation of Arch on my "production machine" after excellent results on my laptop.
All seems to be working well, except for a minor issue with the splash screen. The control centre does not seem to be able to find the "KDEmod-Fancy" or KDEMod-Fancy-OpenGL" splash screens, although they are actually present in /opt/kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes. All other splash screen seem to work OK. As these are the only screen to use the "flexible" engine, I guess the problem is something to do with that, but I have no idea where to start.
I would be grateful for any guidance on how to fix this.
