No sound in a Java app
Hi,
I run a Java application on two different boxes. On one box it's mute. I checked Java Control Panel, but it doesn't concern itself with sound at all. It's alsa on both boxes. Is there a simple way to check sound in Java environment, at least?

Not exactly, as it turned out. It can get mute for some reason, but the muteness is reboot curable. Probably, incorrect sound initialization inside the app.
Is there a way to reset the Java engine without reboot?
