Browser-Free Konqueror

Howdy-ha, all.  I'm guessing my question answers itself: might it be possible to build Konqueror using ABS without the web-browsing components?  I know the KDE folks want to emphasize the browser side of the app, but I'd like to use it as a file manager only and cut out the extra chaff.  I guess I'd say that I'm curious, but I have strong doubts so I won't hold my breath.

Re: Browser-Free Konqueror

I don't really think it is possible to do that but why would you? Either way you will have all dependencies installed even if you do not need the web browsing capabilities.

Why not just use the File Management profile?

kfmclient openProfile "filemanagement"

You can also press F9 and choose the places pane. Then save it. You can also change your starting page to be a directory.

Re: Browser-Free Konqueror

Yeah, I'm aware of all that.  I was just wondering if I might be able to get rid of some (possibly) unnecessary bulk.  It's really just an urge to control, and not really a big deal.  Thank you, though.
