umask in Nautilus (GNOME)?

Hi, how do I get nautilus to follow my new umask value?

I have changed my umask value and added to my .bashrc (I assume it goes here...?), but how do I get the same effect for when using Nautilus?

Try creating ~/.gnomerc and adding the umask value.

Oops, just figured out, that it is a bad idea to reactivate an old thread. Also because I could never put it on solved even when having the right answer. I will start a new thread where it belongs to.
