Streaming Live-Video?

Hey Guys,

I'm using arch for while now and im very confident with the whole system but now I am on a project where I want to stream Live-Videos to a website but I'm not sure wich tools I can use for this. Can someone help me?

FFserver (part of FFmpeg), if you want an RTSP stream or Icecast (with ffmpeg2theora and oggfwd) if you want to stream Ogg Vorbis/Theora.
VLC is also a good choice, too.
If you go the FFserver route, you might want to compile the SVN version of FFmpeg because the version in the repos currently has a nasty little bug that's been fixed in the SVN version.
