Every time when udisks is updated, my modified configuration in "/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.udisks.policy" (to mount internal drives without entering a password) get lost.
How can I prevent pacman from overwriting it (like it does with configuration files in "/etc")?

don't do that. you can create custom rules that overwrite the default ones.
look here for an example: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=42669
but to answer this question, pacman.conf NoUpgrade, without the leading slash.
man pacman.conf
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Thanks for hint! Didn't know about that.
No need to mess with pacman.conf now. ![]()
