font size problems after installing nvidia drivers

I installed the nvidia drivers, and found that some of my text is much larger than normal. Text in tty and firefox tab titles and toolbar text is bigger, but text on webpages and text in xterm seems to be about the same size. My DPI and resolution settings seem to be correct. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks

Re: font size problems after installing nvidia drivers

Please check the wiki article for firefox.

What do you mean by tty - inside X or outside? If outside, then it's because nvidia doesn't use KMS and you won't get native resolution. Change fontsize if you want.

Re: font size problems after installing nvidia drivers

So it looks like I figured it out. I got the font in xorg to be the right size by changing the command to startx -- -dpi 84. To tty font was fixed by changing the framebuffer variable in /boot/grub/menu.lst to 795. Thanks for your help!
