I seem to remember pacman asking me something like "do you wish to install all content" when I tried installing a group of packages such as xorg or gnome-extra. I added a groups=('name') to a few of my own PKGBUILD files which I maintain on a LAN repo. I am able to install all members of the group via a "pacman -S name" but I am not prompted to selected individual members of the group. Do I need an additional line in the PKGBUILDs or..?

Thanks, tomk. Glad it wasn't me.

My arch it's a bug. It's an epically innovative feature. Pacman's brand new Heuristic Volitional Divination (HVD™) algorithm is able to anticipate the user's will. It was correctly able to determine that graysky wanted to install his own packages and thus bypassed the completely unnecessary prompt.
