[SOLVED] Noise appeared after installation of Arch

Hi,

Recently I've Installed arch on a MSI-AE1111 computer. Then, it started to be very noisy during booting and normal work. I've tried working on KDE and Gnome but the noise was still there
I saw two similar computers with ubuntu installed on them and they were quite silent.

What's going on? Do I need some cpufreq or similar (I've tried cpufrequtils but it doesn't work)?

Processor:
Pentium(R) Dual-Core  CPU      E5400  @ 2.70GHz

dreamwalker,

do you mean by "noise" the fans noise ?

What kind of GPU (ATI, Nvidia, whatever...) do you have ?
