Why don't we have a thread for Subtle ? ( Or there already is a thread but I can't find it... )

I installed Subtle a couple of days ago and I really like it. Configuration is easy and it looks pretty cool with little effort.

Here's mine:

The ubuntu font isnt shown in the screenshot but you can get it HERE

As far as my Xdefaults, Im just using Lime from the artwiz package with xft.

What is the box with "1:urxvt 2:gvim 3:urxvt 4:urxvt 5:urxvt-top" in the middle of the screen? Some type of alt-tab popup dialog or something?

No, have a look at subtle-contrib, it's the selector.

You'll also find there the launcher.

Yep exactly, based on an question in the subtle thread here in the bbs. It lists all active clients, highlights the clients that are visible on current views and offers several methods of selecting clients. Pressing the prefixed number directly focusses the client, typing the name limits the possibilities that are cycles via tab. You can also use the arrow keys ofc.

Yay, a "Share your ... desktop!" thread for subtle, that's exactly what we needed Perfect for procrastination.

Learning Rails (when not wasting time taking screenshots):

Top bar is subtle, bottom dzen2. The left part of the bottom bar usually shows weechat highlights, but nobody's talking to me today

Wallpaper is a modded http://wallbase.net/wallpaper/47296

Btw, fuzzytime says "eins uhr"... whoever's responsible - that's kinda ugly

I wrote it, that is troublesome and can't be fixed that easy. Maybe I will think about it one day.
