Firstly, I have an asus r101 / 1001px which I have put archbang on.
a/ Audio jack does nothing what so ever, however internal speaker works fine. Any idea how to get the jack working?
b/ Fn + F5 / F6 used to adjust the brightness under the xf86-video-vesa driver, but since putting the intel driver, they just make the screen blink. However xfce power management still manages to dim the screen fine. Any idea how to fix?
c/ randomly, i think since an Syu, loging out has broken.
┌─[danny]──[archbang]:~$
└──>>sudo oblogout
File "/usr/bin/oblogout", line 55
except getopt.error, msg:
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
┌─[danny]──[archbang]:~$

d/ finally, archbang thought it would be nice to display system info in LXTerminal, however, this randomly broke!
File "/usr/bin/archbey", line 118
print 'Taking shot in',
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
thanks

Did you try adding the following to the kernel command line in grub?
acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor
