screwed up xorg

So I managed to completely screw up xorg by installing virtualbox, which somehow managed to edit my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file so that it now believes my computer is the virtualbox. Is there a backup copy of xorg.conf that I can copy into its place? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks

Re: screwed up xorg

backup your xorg.conf and try without one.
If that doesn't work copy/paste your /var/log/Xorg.0.log here
