[SOLVED] KMS error after update

Yesterday I made an update to Arch (I don't know exactly what was updated), and today, at boot, when KMS activates, the screen stays black, flickering from time to time. Disable KMS doesn't seem to be an option, since I could not start Xorg with KMS disabled. Any ideas? I'm in the middle of a dissertation, and reinstalling my system would be bad. Thank you in advance.

Edit: I have an ATI Mobility x1600, and using the open drivers.

Edit2: I was able to disable KMS and still be able to enter X, using the last option in here.
