Arch switching to runlevel 0 at boot [SOLVED]

I have no idea why, but all of the sudden after last time I shutdown computer I am not able to log in.  Everything loads fine and I arrive at the login (don't have a display manager).  After ~2 seconds, init switches to runlevel 0 and the computer shuts down.  I am able to log in with single user mode but don't have a clue where to look for this problem.  A couple of things updated earlier today (don't remember what exactly), but I believe I have shut down since then and was able to log in (not 100% sure though).  Anyone have a clue?

Re: Arch switching to runlevel 0 at boot [SOLVED]

Ok I think I have resolved it - uninstalled laptop-mode-tools (only thing I could think of that would deal with anything like this) and it stopped it. Does anyone have any idea why this was happening? It was a very useful tool for prolonging battery life..
