I found it as a background to some obscure site, but it had a bunch of extra stuff on it, and it was turned vertically. I edited the image to remove the "junk", turned it appropriately, and extended the lines to fill the canvas size I wanted.

Lemme know if you want it. It is 1024x768 right now.

I don't know about that particular background, but I spent at least 30 mins the other day just browsing wallpapers at DeviantArt. The amount of cool stuff they've got there is insane! Just filter to wallpapers and pick a category you like and go for gold. You'll get shitty at yourself for wasting time before you'll run out of cool pictures to look at

OpenBox 3.2 with the X.org Composite extension enabled. The theme is SwordfishWhite.  The background was gratuitously stolen from someone on DeviantArt.  Shown are Eterm, XMMS, and kwrite.

Well the unedited filename for it is 'Dark_Skys_Dark__Trees__by_pjc10.jpg' so it looks like a deviantart picture.  I went to pjc10's gallery, but it wasn't in there.

There really isn't anything special about these screenies. Using GNOME w/ Clearlooks. GTK2 theme is Clearlooks-d3a (my own creation) and d3a metacity theme.

The top part is all torsmo, the little black transparent bar was edited on the background image.

The taskbar is xfce4-taskbar-plugin.
