Empathy Sound Notifications
Anyone having issues with Empathy Sound Notifications? Even when enabled, I can't hear anything. I had no problems like this on pidgin and I have an ALSA setup properly. I do I need to install extra packages to get this to work? I have the latest version of empathy as of this writing: empathy 2.32.2-1

compared with pidgin, empathy is a gnome application, is integrating into the gnome desktop, using the gnome settings etc.
you need to enable the sound theme in gnome first.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
