With the new flashplugin there is an issue with the video overlay. Some times after watching a video the overlay stays there. The only way to "reset" it is to restart X.
Does anyone face the same problem?
GPU: Nvidia 8400 GS proprietary drivers.

Yep, but it doesn;t seem to make a difference. Hardware accelerated or not, it has the same behavior.

I had that too. I just logged out and did
nvidia-xconfig
and haven't had it since. Don't really know if it was the cure or not.

same here.
I also have geforce 9600 GT.
turning off hardware acceleration in the flash menu gets rid of the problem for me but I would of course
prefer to leave it on.

The problem may not be related to flash since i notice it only when using youtube html5 version.
This would mean the problem is with video driver.

same problem here on i686, but not on x86_64 - I downgraded the crap - no mumbo jumbo helped - put it in IgnorePkg in pacman.conf. I, too have nvidia.

I had same problem, but i fixed this by right clicking on flash content, clicking settings and unchecking enable hardware acceleration. After that you must to restart your xserver.

Had to downgrade to flashplugin-10.1.82.76-1. Seems to have fixed it.
Kinda serious problem since it affects X in general when it occurs.
Nvidia driver 260.19.36.
