Alsaequal -> dmix question

Since dmix only supports hw slaves, if one want to play multiple streams with alsaequal he has to:

   stream1 -> alsaequal  \
   stream2 -> alsaequal   --- dmix
   stream3 -> alsaequal  /

isn't that a little bit resource expansive?

Yes, it's a horrible situation. Please let us know if/when there's something better.
