[SOLVED]Slim and invalid .xinitrc

I messed something up in .xinitrc and rebooted. Now I can't boot past slim. For some reason, none of the slim commands seem to work. Slim closes for a second, then comes right back up. Is there a way to stop slim?

SSH into your machine?  If you can't do that, boot into the liveCD/USB, mount your root partition, and edit your rc.conf.

It's in a virtualbox. Can I still do any of those you listed?

Edit: I found a way to change the runlevel in grub so that slim wouldn't boot.

Re: [SOLVED]Slim and invalid .xinitrc

Glad you solved it, but yes, you could do both of those things in a Virtual Machine.
