[SOLVED] Cannot run kdenlive as user

Does anyone else have the problem of running kdenlive as a regular user? I can run it as root, but not as a user. I have the same problem as this thread:

Any clues? (FWIW, I tried the svn version of kdenlive from AUR with the same issue.)

I found the problem. If I use the Oxygen-Transparent theme, kdenlive cannot run. If I use the regular Oxygen theme, all is well. Go figure!
