PulseAudio on Macbook 5.5 internal speakers not working

So.. i installed pulseaudio following the instructions on the wiki,
i am running gnome, and sound is working when i plug speakers to the headphone jack, but without the jack the internal speakers are not working,
they are not muted,

ok.. problem solved, had to reinstall alsa and then pulse audio and again start playing with things with alsa mixer like nagoonee recommended,
