ettercap-gtk crash's on sniff startup

Hay guys
I have just installed ettecap-gtk. I start it up in root and start sniffing,
it prompts me "Can't open "./share/etter.ssl.crt"" then crash's.

The file is there. and it can be read.
The weird thig is that is works fine with the normal ettercap.

Help would be grate.

same problem here. I am using kernel 2.6.36. I start ettecap with: sudo -E ettercap-gtk -G, then i press sniff-->unified sniffing then sellect the interface and then this error comes up
