Brief overview of the computer:
AMD Phenom II x3
Geforce GTS 250 512 MB
Arch x86-64, up to date with nvidia-260.19.36-2
Launching compiz from fusion-icon
This problem appears similar to:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … bug/175075
What I've tried:
Specifying in xorg.conf:
HWCursor True
HWCursor False
Specifying in "Workarounds" in ccsm:
Force Sync.. between X and GLX on
Other compiz settings:
Indirect rendering
Loose binding
Any ideas?

I have had similar issues because of Indirect Rendering and Loose Binding options.
Try combining them differently. The only idea I can contribute with now.

I figured out the cause of the problem:
I use the redglass mouse cursor theme with size 48 because my vision isn't the best.
However, any cursor size above 40 causes the glitching. 40 and under is ok.
I assume that there is some constraint in the nvidia driver or X on the mouse cursor size.
So now the questions becomes, is this a bug, or is there some setting I'm missing that solves this problem?
