Hmm, don't know, I used touchpad only a little, so no real proof, but I didn't noticed any misclicks.
But latest synaptic broke my settings for speed and acceleration, everything went slow

Set the synaptic options EmulateTwoFingerMinZ and/or EmulateTwoFingerMinW to high numbers (however, this will also increase the threshold for two-finger scrolling), or in Firefox's about:config page search for "middle" and set the appropriate preferences to "false."

The problem is still alive and kicking. It is indeed a problem with synaptics, as a external mouse isn't having this issue. And it happens regardless of web browser(I've witnessed this in Opera, Arora and Firefox). Any files' which content I should provide for some assistance?

I haven't noticed crazyclick from my last post so about two weeks, but guess the problem still remains...

Strange, I just noticed it happening with an external USB mouse, and I'm afraid the same thing happened to me with Windows 7. Hardware problem then, which somehow just occurred to me at the same as synaptics problems for others.

I am experiencing this problem too!
I noticed it chromium and in eclipse and gedit as well...
This is extremely annoying if you click on an editor and accidently enter random text (the text you had selected last) into your source code....
Is anybody else still having this problem?

And since I'm the first one to bump into you, it falls to me to give you the "Welcome" speech. Arch is a DIY distro; users are expected to work through their own setup, configuration and customization. This means we need to do our own research and, failing to find an answer, post a comment or start a new thread explaining what we've tried, what errors we might be receiving, what information we've found, etc. The answer to this issue could be weedled out from a look at the forums--botht the link I posted and this very thread--and the wiki. I don't mean to be a jerk--I'm just letting you know how things work around here, to help ease you into the community. You'll want to read the Forum Etiquette in the wiki, read about the Arch Way, etc. and, if all that sounds good to you, you should fit right in. Welcome to Arch!

That looks weird. Two things bother me. First, why does it find it on both even10 and mouse2. IMHO, the filter in the udev rule should only find the touvhpad once. Second, why is AutoAddDevices off?
On this system, the touchpad only maps to the eventn port, and there AutoAddDevice is on. It also is an Alps Touchpad.
