Yes - it is conky: a pretty standard setup - you can replicate it by reading the conky documentation.

It's coming along. I have most of what I want on there, but I was wondering..

How would I get the background of conky to span all the way across my screen? of course, the more I add to it, the closer it gets to the edges, but.. Is there anyway to keep the background of conky (the black) to stretch across, and just have the text adjust on the bar without moving the background?

I hope somebody understands what I'm trying to say.. the pic in my first post might give you an idea of what I mean.
